Rexford Industrial’s relationship with David Young and Chad Gahr began when we purchased a 70,000 square foot distribution building for our first fund.  After a renovation of the property, David and Chad successfully leased the building for ten years to a credit tenant.  With the successful repositioning of the asset, it was then sold to an investor, generating one of the highest internal rates of return in the history of Rexford Industrial.  Most recently, David and Chad helped stabilize a vacant 77,000 square foot building purchased by our fifth fund.  The building had been utilized for decades as a plastic injection molding facility, and David and Chad advised on a scope of capital improvements to make the building suitable for today’s end users. The property underwent extensive rehabilitation and renovation, after which they successfully leased the building to a pharmaceutical company.  David and Chad have a proven track record of success and respect within the industry and their market, and we look forward to our next opportunity to work with them.

After a comprehensive presentation and vetting process in which all of the major brokerages participated, we enthusiastically selected David Young and Chad Gahr of NAI Capital as the exclusive agents to represent Voit Development Company on the sales and leasing of the Burbank Airport Commerce Center, a 22 building-480,000 square foot industrial development. As former Vice President of Acquisitions and Development for Voit Development Company, I am certain the project went on to become one of the most successful and well received new business parks in the region, in large part due to David and Chad’s brokerage excellence, superior marketing platform and strong relationships with brokers and businesses throughout the San Fernando Valley.
